CLUCK, CLUCK, Chicken Workshop:  This workshop is for those of you who have thought about raising chickens but aren’t sure where to start.  We will discuss the basics of raising chickens from ordering or buying your chicks, raising them, and moving them into your hen house.  We will look at housing options, nesting boxes, and how to handle roosters.  Starting your own egg business will also be discussed and we will provide you with the key contacts and regulations for the state of Tennessee.  $35.00 4 hours, We have brooder kits available for $55.00 with everything you need to get started except your chicks.  Chicks available depending on the season)
